Starting after Roccaraso, the final climb is about 10 km long, averaging 5.7%. The first section is relatively steady, followed by a short downhill false flat. The last 2 km rise at 7%, with the steepest ramps – around 12% – located in the final kilometer. The surface is asphalt, and the road is 7 meters wide.
